I took them down. They were nasty. I like Denis. So not hosting libellous name-calling.

how interesting. Someone with the same IP address made multiple comments under different names saying more nasty/libellous things about DOB. Guys, fake names don’t work here. I can see the IP’s….

    Actually Sarah

IP address tells you very little. As it could be an internet PC/connection and so you could easily have the scenario in which one person gets sucked into the previous browsing history of a previous user of the same PC.

Or you could have different family members or friends sharing the same PC in one household etc etc etc. However assuming your right and it is a case of someone using various fake names? So what? You expect everyone to be as transparent as you the editor of this blog? Well most people prefer to keep prefer privacy and discretion.

The bottom line though is that you refuse to allow anybody say anything critical of your “friend” DOB Well sure why not. It is your blog and of course you are free to only allow comments that share your views if you wish or allow some deviation from this every now and then as you see fit.

However when it comes to DOB I don’t think you are anything like objective/balanced or fair. The man is no hero and should not be hailed as anything positive. His record and actions speak for themselves.

Or is that too nasty of a reality or too libellous for you?

Your unbelievable blinkered view if this man is astounding really. Frankly it is enough to negate any merit or worth in any critical comments you might make of any politicians or public figures in Ireland.

It is one thing to hold a certain view, it is another thing to start being a PR proxy for DOB and blowing his trumpet as if he was somebody worthy of praise. He is just a little bit better than the Russian Oligarchs who also made their vast fortunes through questionable means [and that is as nice as you could ever put it]

As one of those posts noted this man got a personal pay day of over 300 million and is now worth over 2 Billion about seven years later, and you have the audacity to suggest that this is all fine and dandy. Come on!

Fact that he played the Irish for fools with his tax dodging/avoidance and non resident farce is enough to think poorly of the man.

    Thinking poorly is one thing.
Equating creating huge companies (and jobs and wealth for others) with crime, is another. Building big companies and making money is perfectly fine. In case you hadn’t noticed, communism failed.
And yup its my site, so I am under no obligation to host nasty comments about my friends especially when they are from the same person trying to look like different people.
