GG – he’s great really

The “country market” (think Dun Laoighre People’s Park Market and divide by 1000) is 11 years old tomorrow. GG will attend. The man just can’t stop giving.

Perhaps Meath will get to play the Dubs later in the campaign and GG can stuff them yet again.

Let’s hope there aren’t many teenagers in attendance to pull at Mahatma Geraghty’s robe too vigorously, or bump into him.

    Indo, Vincent Hogan, today:

    http://www.independent.ie/sport/gaelic-football/prodigal-son-gets-a-heros-welcome-1042549.html

“He has a mobile phone to his ear and a kit-bag slung over his left shoulder. All is honeysuckle and jasmine down here in the Portlaoise dressing-room tunnel.

He identifies a niece, but just can’t put a name on the middle-aged, bespectacled woman who seems drawn to him like an opera-goer to Caruso.”

Was it you Sarah :) ;)

By the way, what is a GG? Something to do with horses, if I recall correctly? 8)
