They have asked me several times to run but I say no. It’s too much hard work! Bloody hell – 7 days a week, get turfed out at any election and nothing but abuse in between. I think they’re all great and mad.

Hook admitted on air a couple of years ago that he was a Blueshirt.

Given that media presenters and journalists have an influence over the direction people will vote, I actually think it’s crucial that journalists admit their political intentions, as it makes bias more obvious – it’s easier to read in the print media, but very hard to tell which political inclination of the radio / tv journalists are of, unless there is something strikingly obvious.

I don’t know! I often wonder what the score is. Should they tell? I guess it would undermine their credibility if they did. I have none anyway so no point in keeping up a pretence Hook, you have think FnF don’t you? Cooper I have no idea but..I dunno Labour? I don’t trust anyone frankly. They’re ALL suspect in my book

hmm, of course he hasn’t been elected yet so hasn’t been able to do anything! However, I can tell you two things:

1. Prior to his entry into the election he spent most of his spare time attending schools and youth sporting events. He is absolutely brilliant with children and he’d give out prizes and do practice training sessions with them. In fact when the sister was out canvassing with him at schools, Graham was spending time with the kids instead of plamassing the mothers. I thought that was nice.

2. I believe he would concentrate his efforts on helping people in disadvantages areas

3. His wife is the real political brains. Its a two for the price of one job.
