Feel like dancin
It’s like soooooooooo ironic. That Scissor Sisters song “don’t feel like dancin” MAKES you feel like dancin. Current fave song.

Yeah, I love that song too. kickin
are you manic today? What’s with all the posts?
I prefer the confessional posts about you and your emotions rather than your opinions on how others should behave.
I want more introspection. Could you do a post where you try to analyze why you have so many opinions about what other people ought to do? I’d prefer this to you actually listing those opinions which are usually a pile of shite – not to put too fine a point on it.
like – are you pregnant? What are you wearing around the house? Any luck with your laundry systems?

I’m pre-menstrual. The house is VERY clean. My hair is mad. I am so sleepy. Thankfully my children are in the care of others today. Otherwise they’d be locked in a room with the TV and a pack of Mikados while I shouted at them every few minutes to keep it down while I tried to read the same sentence 10 times. But I have to go and collect them soon. Then I’ll have about 2 to 3 hours before their bedtime when I will make half hearted efforts to feed them and entertain them. Thank GOD for telly. I hope they go in the bath peacefully. It uses up about 30 minutes.
Maybe the lists of opinions are connected to my cycle? Should I start posting what day of cycle I am on and then we could see if there is a pattern. Perhaps when I am ovulating I am bossing others around? hmmmmmm

oh I am wearing blue jeans. They are too big for me because I bought them after a pregnancy. So I have to have the belt on the last hole so they don’t fall down. But the arse is still to big so its a bit unflattering. So they are strictly “round the house” wear. I am also wearing a very faded pink t-shirt with a pink and blue round next stripey cotton jumper. But its not warm enough. I am really cold today. But I think that might be the hormones too. I really should buy NEW round the house jeans but I prefer to use up my overdraft on socialising clothes, not on round the house clothes. Even though one spends more time around the house. Maybe I should rebalance the budget?

Wow, that’s exactly what I was after. I have a very vivid picture in my mind now. This is better than TV.
What day of your cycle are you on?
Tell me more about your budget. Do you have target and actual expenditure for every category?

Y’know, I usually have to pay women to describe what they’re wearing online.

I just read a brilliant short story “The 28th Day” (damn, left book in Dublin so can’t check author) from ‘Irish Girls On The Town’, a fundraiser for VDP and Barnardos.
I’ve never suffered from the negative aspects of pre-MT, but it describes perfectly the behaviour of some of my friends. And, I’m told, mine about a week post-.

I always suspected that women became frisky around ovulation rather than didactic which would disincline most suitors. I’d also expect them to have their sights set on high quality alpha males for short term discreet fun. Progeny to be slipstreamed into the family as if nothing had happened.
OK so let’s go back to your last ovulation which I am guessing is around the 15th/16th October. What were you posting then and does it fit?
16/Oct Economy drives (stuff about cleaning your house- appeals to me but doesn’t fit the hypothesis. This should be PMT material)
16/Oct Art escapade (something about a trip abroad to see pornographic sculpture with a mysterious chap called ArdMayle – BINGO!)
15/Oct Opinion Polls (Why everyone in Ireland is wrong and you are right – yawn)
15/Oct Down with depression – wherein you reveal the details of your mentally ill friends’ lives
Art Escapade is pretty much on the money but the rest aren’t really helping. I need to study more data before I can reach any conclusion.

well you need to take into account that while ovulating I am going to have some excess energy so there will be cleaning around that time too. Also there will be some high/low behaviour. So active mental energy might result in some mania where I am convinced of my own superior insight. This would account for both the Opinion Polls and the depression one (cos that’s a bit superior too – “if only they would listen to me they would all be fine”). However, the “low” can touch off that too since I know I am ovulating and am broody but know that a pregnancy would be madness so would feel a bit sad about that.

That song starts with the same intro as ‘Oh What A Night’ and then there must be another dozen or so songs mixed in.I’d love to know what the rest are.
