Photos – sigh

I knew it. I have surveyed photos of myself at the Blog Awards. There are a number of issues:

1. I know I am small, but surely I cannot be THAT small.ÂÂ

2. This page has a classic lollipop head thing going on. If I was a film star they’d put it in Heat with a headline “anorexic fears for Carey”. “Friends of Sarah Carey are expressing concern about her recent radical weight loss but denied that she is suffering from bulimia. Sarah claims her weight loss is due to recent ill-health and constant pressure rather than sticking her fingers down her throat. Wearing dresses belonging to her sister who has shoulders, does not help her appearance, since she has none. Carey says that she would love to check in to The Priory for a month and recouperate but she can’t afford the fees and no one will mind her chidren in her absence. In the meantime she plans to eat a lot of pasta and get some rest. It is rumoured that she is said to be more upset about the apparent loss of her bosom and is seriously re-considering her attitude towards cosmetic surgery. “I used to have tits” she cried to a close friend recently. “Something will have to be done”.

    Be grateful that you are small, only small people are allowed on telly (I’ve worked in TV, and found that all the presenters were micro-people that I could have picked up with one hand).

    This is the first time that I’ve seen a picture of you. I have to say you don’t fit the mental image that I constructed based on nothing, I had you a bit rounder with a mass of wavy brunette hair.

    Also, I think most people would look small standing beside Shrek.

    I am also exeedingly tall (green shirt on the right), so that cant have helped. No TV for me I guess.
