Airline charges
I’m going to London in a couple of weeks and booked my flight with Aer Lingus who charged a return fare of €49, which I think is very good. BUT then I have to pay a total of €54 in taxes and charges! Mad. This is why it pisses me off that Michael O’Leary say Ryanair passengers have no right to complain if they get turfed off flights since most of them paid a fiver for the ticket. They paid a fiver AND the €50 in charges which he then keeps even if the flight is never taken and the government don’t collect.
